How I Help Businesses Like Yours
What do you do for people? How do you provide value, and how do you communicate that to customers? How can online technology enhance your marketing and customer experience?
“My business website was old and outdated so I hired Nate Houstman to build me a new one. He was so easy to work with and he had great ideas to build me an interactive site that really shows off what we do! The look is exactly what I envisioned. Nate finished the website promptly and made sure it was easily accessible on the web. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! If you’re looking for an awesome web designer to build you a user friendly website, I highly recommend Nate Houstman.”
Working with Michelle was a blast, because we both understand customer service. I help businesses succeed on the web, and I love the direct relationships local businesses have with their clients.
I don’t just make websites, I make strategies. The Pet Place already had good content on its old site, and a healthy Facebook presence. However its method of signing up clients was outdated, and needed a boost in Google. I made an online boarding form and guided Michelle in completing her Google My Business profile. I also got her signed up to a web host with superior support.
Your online presence is probably very different. I’ll talk to you before and during the design process.
Another client was Illuminations Healing Arts. They’re a New Age health center offering massage therapy, counseling, yoga instruction, and the sale of spiritual aids and merchandise.
They approached me for an update of their old site, and I showed them the joys of WordPress. I installed a calendar plugin so they could post their seminars and yoga classes. I also used an advanced theme to improve the site’s design, and make it mobile-friendly.
A couple years later, I checked in on them, and they had more updates. Their roster of practitioners changed, so I made the change in content. They also wanted to display their merchandise on the site, and update the images themselves. My solution was to connect the site to their Instagram profile, which focuses on their products. Now their IG feed appears on their products page!
New Websites: Starting At $500
What goes into a successful business website? There’s no single answer. I’ll start the process with a consultation. What are your pain points? Biggest costs? Best sellers? I’ll listen and draw a roadmap.
There are apps, plugins, and online services that can accomplish anything you need. I use WordPress to build websites. It’s like assembling and customizing a hot rod.
You’re not just getting my help; I can tap into my network of freelancers and agencies for help. Need photos? Google Ads? Graphic design? Ongoing maintenance? I either know someone, or I’ll find someone.
I offer financing through PayPal Credit. If you qualify, you can pay for the project over time, with the first 6 months interest free. I’m also a referral partner for Fundwise Capital, a pioneer in digital funding for small businesses.
